About the Fanlisting
This page desperately needs a rewrite! Until then...
Sakura Kasugano, the young street fighter in her trademark school uniform, is energetic, optimistic, fun-loving, determined and, for lack of better words, arse-kicking.
She became very fascinated with Ryu after seeing him win a tournament, and self learnt most of his fighting style just by watching him fight. In some games (the Street Fighter EX series and Rival Schools, for example), Sakura even has Akuma / Gouki's super attack, Shun Goku Satsu! (Same pronunciation, but the "Shun" in the name actually means "spring" in Sakura's attack instead of "instant" in Gouki's.)
I can't exactly explain why I love Sakura as she's in fact quite unlike most of my favourite game characters; but there's simply something about her that always bring a smile to my face. I hope this fanlisting could gather as many people who love this schoolgirl as much as I do as possible!
In case you haven't already heard of a "fanlisting", it is simply a site for all fans of a particular interest to come together, and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject — in this case, Sakura Kasugano! There isn't a real point in joining other than to tell the world that, "Hey, I like her, too." But since all that's required to join is your name, email and country (and you could always use an alias and hide your email address), where's the harm? ;)
